csr

Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R.) is the voluntary commitment of organizations to include social and environmental actions in their business practices that are beyond those required by law and are related to all those who directly or indirectly are affected by their activities. Corporations are entities that are inextricably linked to the society in which they operate, influencing and influenced by facts of the time they live in. They must, therefore, recognize their responsibility towards society and the environment and ensure sustainable development, namely “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

In this context, the company has at its disposal several tools, which can be used so that the company may develop and issue sustainability reports, such as GRI framework, ISO 26000 guidelines and Global Compact (COP). All types of organizations , regardless of their subject, product or service they provide, can incorporate into their business practices of environmental and social responsibility, which are beyond what is imposed by the legislation, by implementing tools of Corporate Social Responsibility (GRI / ISO26000 / COP)

Companies that are verified to implement the guidelines of Corporate Social Responsibility (GRI / ISO26000 / COP) have confirmation of an independent organization that they:

  • recognize the responsibility they shoulder towards the society and the environment
  • respect the principles and values that characterize our culture (respect for human – human dignity and equal opportunities , respect the environment we inherited and improved standards of living and quality of life)
  • have submitted valid sustainability reports on environmental, social and economic performance, social equity and human rights.
